TWO employees are on top of the world after collecting a major company award.
BAe Samlesbury staff Norman Ambrose and Des Dickson travelled to London to collect the prestigious silver award in the Chairman's Award for Innovation.
The award was won for work the employees carried out on the setting up of company-wide import and export seminars.
"The aim of the seminars was to ensure that the company had a common plan and process for import and export practices," said Norman. "To gain a silver award for our efforts was a total surprise - we are delighted."
Three levels of award are available through the Chairman's Award scheme to reward employees who have made a special contribution to the company.
