PADIHAM have agreed terms with Lancashire's Mark Harvey for a return to the Ribblesdale League club next summer.
Secretary Brian Shirtcliffe said: "We are very pleased Mark has agreed to return..
"Last summer, because of the financial restrictions, we went without an overseas professional and at the start of the season we were classed as no-hopers.
"But Mark did very well with the bat and was instrumental in helping to bring on several youngsters.
"And despite the predictions we finished a very creditable fourth place."
Harvey featured in the Lancashire first team last summer forcing him to miss several fixtures and Mr Shirtcliffe acknowledged that county commitments might mean that Padiham will have to do without his services again on occasions next season.
"It happened last summer and could well happen again. But it is a situation that will just have to get on with."
Harvey is a former amateur with Burnley CC.
Padiham have also announced that they have reappointed Neil Anderson as captain and Andy McNicholas as his vice-captain.
