THROUGHOUT the election and during the months leading up to it, Tony Blair proclaimed how his party was lily white and how it was not involved in any sleazy deals.
But how he's been found out.
First, it was councillors in Scotland. Then a by-election was forced because of a whispering campaign against a Labour MP.
Now, tobacco advertising, despite promises made during the General Election that it would be outlawed, is to be allowed in Formula One racing and the husband of the public health minister is closely involved with one of the most prominent of Formula One racing teams.
It stinks and Tony Blair knows it.
At the same time, Peter Mandelson complains that the media are hard on Labour.
The media have every right to be hard on people who break the rules especially as they were the very ones who pointed the fingers at Tories.
