AN investment programme at a factory of more than £1.5 million is paying dividends.
Burnley-based air filter manufacturer Interfilta has recently ploughed the money into new plant and to improve production methods at its Farrington Road factory.
The result has been improved lead times of filter products and means many of the firm's customers can be supplied next day.
"By smoothing out our order intake and creating a better supply chain we have turned our production round," said Dave Simpson, production director.
"And we've had a really positive feedback to these changes from the shopfloor."
