AIRTOURS celebrated its tenth year on the stock market with record profits today.
The Rossendale travel giant said the successful launch of all-inclusive holidays, in which drinks and ice creams are all part of the package, helped its profits soar in the year to September 30.
Growth in short-breaks, long-haul holidays and fly-cruises also lifted the group, which saw annual pre-tax profits jump by 38 per cent from £86.8 million to £120.3 million.
Turnover in the year to September 30 climbed 26 per cent from £1.7 billion to £2.1 billion as the fast growing company reaped the benefits of its aggressive expansion around the world.
