GARY PETERS was disappointed to lose the match: "We got off to a great start with the two early goals and we should have closed things down. We didn't,we kept up the tempo of the game and they got back into it."
Asked about Moilanen's mistake which gave Southend the lead, Peters said: "He knows it was a bad goal, he came into the dressing room, put his hands up and took the blame."
Peters continued: "It wasn't just Tepi, the team must take the blame, we could and should have won but we kept playing at a hundred miles an hour with a two-goal lead, we should have reduced the tempo."
