ST HELEN Combination outfit Owens Corning Ravenhead gained more silverware when they won the initial final of the new Champions Cup of the North West Inter League Alliance.

The St Helens Star Premier Division champions beat Warrington Premier Division champions Halebank FC 4-1 in the final at Fords Social Club last Saturday.

Jeff Lea (2), Tony Graves and Andy Walsh were the Ravenhead scorers.

But they also have a debt to 'keeper Lee Dyer who produced a tremendous save when the game was delicately balanced.
