A NETWORK of access centres has won an award.
The 12 'Inform' adult guidance and information centres in East Lancashire have received the North West Quality Standard Award.
The centres were launched last year in an initiative between ELTEC, colleges, access points, training providers and the East Lancashire Careers Services to help local people access education and training opportunities.
The centres are based at Accrington & Rossendale College, Training 2000 in Blackburn, Nelson & Colne College, Training and Employment Access Point in Burnley, Careers Services offices in Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Clitheroe, Colne, Nelson and Rawtenstall and Pendle Re-Employment in Nelson.
