SNOOKER champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has slammed the behaviour of a drunken spectator who brought an important semi-final to a halt, shouting.
The potting ace was playing Stephen Lee in the semi-final of the UK Championships at Guild Hall on Saturday (Nov 29) when the man started his outbursts.
A shocked audience listened to the shouts in the tenth frame and international match referee Lawrie Annandale asked for quiet on several occasions before security guards moved in.
The man was asked to leave. He refused and was dragged out by three security guards. By this time both players had decided to leave the arena until things quietened down.
O'Sullivan, who went on to win the tournament, hit out at the so-called fan: "It was annoying and was putting both of us off. I was glad they got rid of him."
