MADCAP comedian Harry Hill drops in at the Guild Hall in a couple of weeks with his zany routine and a few old friends.
The former doctor quit the medical profession when he decided it wasn't for him and has since scooped an array of top awards on the comedy circuit.
Last year he put on a show at the Guild Hall and returns on December 20 with his sidekicks Stouffer the Cat and scientist friend Finsbury Parks.
So what's the secret of Harry's success. He told me: "My secret is service station food. There's nothing better than a Cumberland sausage, half a chicken or a bender brunch.
"The bender brunch is the cornerstone of all service station menus. I'm hoping to get plenty in on the way to Preston."
And what can the punters expect from a full-up Harry when he's on stage. He explained: "I've got a little film about my holiday on Mars and the Mark Ellis Orchestra and much, much more.
"I'm really looking forward to coming to the Guild Hall again. It's better than my first ever show in a Mexican restaurant which was a rough old gig."
