WARRIORS started strongly and had a good lead at half-time, but slack defence allowed Little Hulton back into the game. However, Warriors replied with further tries to win the game. WARRIORS' trip to Warrington was rewarded with a single try from Mark Quinn, converted by James Glover. Jonathon Walker won man of the match for his tireless efforts and Andrew Benson received the best tackler award.

A GOOD first half by Warriors in spite of conceding early tries. A well taken try by Noel Byrom converted by Dan Fletcher brought the Leyland team back into the game, but second half handling errors allowed St Pats in for further scores. Man of the match was Greg Fishwick and top tackler was Andy Watson. Peter Clarke was awarded player of distinction.
WIGAN ST PATRICK'S 30 WARRIORS U12s 6
WARRIORS started slowly but later gave a good performance in very wet conditions. A well-worked try by man of the match James Franklin, converted by Wes Loram, was the highlight of the second half. Top tackler was Hal Pedlar.
SPOTLAND (ROCHDALE) 10 WARRIORS U13s 12
A GOOD team performance contributed to a tough win away from home, featuring an outstanding debut by full back Jim Johnson and strong running by man of the match Dan Lofthouse. Top tackler was Paul Lorenzen. Tries were by Danny Gazel, Danny Smith and Jim Johnson.
NEWTOWN KNIGHTS 30 WARRIORS U14s 4
WARRIORS put in a greatly improved performance against a strong physical team. This was a sporting and competitive performance from two teams who produced good rugby in poor weather conditions. Warriors' forwards put in a powerful display and deserved more than the only try by top tackler Simon Crowther. Man of the match was Paul Cowling.
