CHURCH Inn left it late on Saturday.
They snatched a last gasp winner against Rileys to move in to the quarter finals of the Redwaters Coronation Cup.
With extra time looming Wayne Woods netted his second of the game to secure a dramatic 3-2 win.
Jamie Munroe also scored for Church, Barry Atkins and Andy Whittle netted for Rileys.
Lion Inn LMP roared in to the quarter finals with a 7-0 win against Ross's Wanderers.
Alan Litherland 3, Brian Kelly 2, Gary Hogan and Steve Turner on target.
In the other cup game, Britannia went one up inside a minute at Sir Charles Napier with a goal from Leon Peters.
This spurred the home team on and they went 4-1 up with goals from Paul Griffin 3 and Kenny Williams.
But Britannia hit back with strikes from Dave Shacklady and Colin Prior.
Royal Oak's unbeaten run in Division One looked over when they went 3-0 down at Atherton C&N.
But they fought back for a 3-3 draw with goals from inter league strikers Paul O'Driscoll and Kevin Mullins 2.
On target for C&N were Peter Jackson, Mark Smith and a Paul Ogden own goal.
Higher Fold Village Inn increased their lead at the top with a 3-0 win at Leigh Phoenix A. Neil Clayton, Neil Myers and sub Joddy Holt scored.
Tyldesley side Queens put in a royal command performance against Atherton Tigers.
They recorded their biggest win in a over a year, 8-0 with goals from Alan Smallman 4, Mel Buck 3 and Liam Connelly.
Division Two's only game saw second placed Union Arms move within two points of top with a 2-0 win at New Inn Rangers.
Paul Valentine and Gary Howcroft scored.
