ON Saturday, Mr Martin Ross challenged readers to construct a meaningful letter without using the letter 'E.' This is the first shot at it we have received, but I think it falls outside the 'rules' by shortening 'kilometres' to 'kilos' and operation to 'op.' A good try though, Mr Maffia - Editor.
I THINK that my ability is to walk from 9.6558 to 11.2651 kilo's most days.
I do this without my right low limb, with aid of two iron props, with handgrips and arm rings.
I know it is good for my blood-pumping organ of which I only own two-thirds. A knock-out potion in hospital put a third of my pumping organ out of action during a minor op.
I am sixty-four and my opinion is that I can go on and on and on. Thank you, Martin Ross, for giving this task a public showing.
V C MAFFIA, Lancaster Drive, Clitheroe.
