ANOTHER away defeat for Blackpool against Walsall on Saturday (November 29) saw them fail to tame rampant Frenchmen Roger Boli and Jeff Peron.
Walsall's passing game meant they were a constant danger and Boli had three chances in the opening ten minutes.
Clarkson's opening goal was thought to be offside by the home fans and players, but the linesman's flag stayed down and the goal stood.
Ironically, it came after some nice passing from the Tangerines, who had previously been playing the long ball for Preece and Ellis.
Pressure from Blackpool meant they sustained the lead into the interval.
It wasn't until the 64 minute that Walsall equalised through ex-Pool player Andy Watson.
Boli went into overdrive towards the end of the match and his 86th minute goal made it 2-1 and finished off the Seasiders.
