WITH reference to the accident involving a double-deck bus and the Plane Street railway bridge at Little Harwood, Blackburn (LET, December 8), why on earth do Stagecoach currently operate the 214 Blackburn-Little Harwood service, albeit by minibus, under this bridge?
Surely, as a matter of common sense and safety all buses, irrespective of their height, must stop going under this bridge, or must we wait for the real front-page horror story before the message gets through?
