I AM sick and tired of trying to cross Bolton Road, Blackburn, near the bottom of Ashville Terrace at Ewood.

I have got soaking wet three times in the last three weeks.

I've timed how long it takes and I've waited seven or eight minutes every time.

I'm in my eighties and have arthritis and there are a lot more older people like me in this area.

We have lived for years looking at a row of derelict houses.

We haven't got a decent bus shelter. I hope our councillors take note as I think we deserve a bit of money for Ewood.

It would not cost much more than those silly metal trees and statues which are appearing all over the place.
