THE long-awaited revamp of Blackburn's shopping centre could begin within months, it was revealed.
The cash windfall heading the town's way through the City Challenge bid could spark a multi-million development of the whole town centre area.
And the shopping centre's owners said the council's spending spree should bring the starting date for their revamp plans forward.
