IT is wonderful that the MRI Scanner is to be installed at Blackburn Infirmary - all paid for by public donations.
Like all hospital equipment paid for by the public, it should have a brass plaque on it saying who gave the money.
Perhaps, then it won't be grabbed by some future hospital chief of the private sector.
It is ours - the public's. It belongs to us, not them.
