MORE than 200 people responded to a survey of Trinity Ward, Burnley, to find out public opinion about what needs to be done to improve the area.
Information supplied will be used by staff at the council's Community Development Section to identify problems and issues causing concern to residents.
From there, it is hoped to come up with long-term solutions and to work with organisations such as the health service and social services.
In all, 2,000 survey forms were distributed. The ward is one of the biggest in the area and takes in Healeywood, the Nairne Street area, Coal Clough and Picadilly. Most of the people who replied were aged between 55 and 75.
