I HAVE been told by "neighbours" to stop feeding the (expletive deleted) birds! No, I have been ordered to stop.

They say birds are vermin and should be killed off.

This must be the same "vermin" which has vandalised the telephone box, set fire to the litter bins and makes me afraid to walk my little dog after dark.

Perhaps when the birds have starved to death, old people will no longer get mugged and broken glass, take-away debris and disposable nappies will suddenly disappear! Or have I mixed up the species?
