POLICE are still hunting the masked silent robber who raided a post office in Colne.
He used a wooden cosh to smash the security screen guarding the counter at the Alkincoats sub post office in Parker Street and snatched a cash box full of notes.
The man walked into the premises shortly before noon on Friday, December 12.
The postmaster and his wife were both working in the shop but were not threatened or hurt.

His face was covered with a brown Balaclava with a single slit.
He smashed the security glass with two blows from the cosh and reached in to grab the money dispenser before running off towards Vivary Way.
