MANAGER Tony Town is heading Down Under to help an East Lancashire firm's overseas expansion drive.
Tony, of Barnoldswick, has been appointed sales and marketing manager of Clitheroe firm Spiroflow's subsidiary in Adelaide, Australia.
The subsidiary was formed by Kevin Bolland, a former Barnoldswick man who emigrated six years ago. He approached his former employer, Michael Podevyn, of Spiroflow, with the idea of setting up a sales operation for the powder handling systems firm in the southern hemisphere.
Since then the company has grown steadily with a purpose built factory for the manufacturing and demonstration of conveyors and other equipment.
