DELIGHTED Nina Rostron has danced her way to a prestigious ballet scholarship.
The 13-year-old, from Rishton, was selected from hundreds of hopefuls up and down the country who auditioned for the British Ballet Organisation award.
The incentive scholarship will involve Nina in extra lessons once a month at centres in London, Manchester and Leeds, plus a week-long dance course in the capital at Easter.
As well as ballet classes with top teachers, she will also have lessons in national, character and contemporary dance during the coming year.
Nina has been attending Pat Eakets School of Dancing, in Blackburn, for around seven years.
She is a pupil at Norden High School, Rishton, and her proud parents, Eddie and Shirley, live in Dorset Road.
