LANCASHIRE Hawks take a break from Christmas Cup duties tonight - but there's no festive season breather.
The local ice hockey side invade the Kingston Hawks' nest in Hull in a bid to play catch up in the Northern League with a rare midweek assignment.
Lancashire are hoping to win back some confidence after a double home and away beating last weekend.
Hawks took a nosedive in the Christmas Cup at Paisley and at home against Telford, and a win tonight would be a timely tonic for the struggling side.
Hawks will be up against ex-Arena star Malcolm Bell in the Kingston defence, but will be hoping that another Hawks old boy - returning front man Ian Plews - will help provide a gift wrapped win for the visitors.
Plews joined up with Hawks last weekend after spending the last few seasons with rivals Fife and Paisley.
