PAY rises averaging £32 a week for National Health Service bosses were branded "immoral" by a union leader.
Eric Cooper, who represented more than 4,000 workers in East Lancashire hospitals, hit out after the Government announced the increases for senior administrators.
Blackburn MP Jack Straw labelled the awards as a "gag" to prevent general managers speaking out about inadequacies in the health service.
