A TECHNOLOGY company is celebrating after achieving an international quality standard.
The Blackburn-based CMS Group, which employs 22 people, specialises in keeping computer systems up to date in local companies and government offices.
It consists of three different companies: A and K Software, City (UK) Distribution Ltd and Wordcom Training Ltd.
With help from the East Lancashire Training and Enterprise Council (ELTEC) the Group has now achieved the ISO 9002 quality standard.
General manager Mary Hadfield said: "Reaching the quality standard was quite a challenge for us but it was essential to strengthen our market position and reflect the quality of our business systems and the services we provide.
"The cash grant and professional business advice we received from ELTEC was very much appreciated and vital in helping us to achieve accreditation."
