AMBITIOUS Raza Ahmed hopes to pursue a career in law and is getting a taste for it already on an XTEND Modern Apprenticeship.
Raza, 20, from Nelson, is one of two apprentices at solicitors Bukhari and Co in the town, run by husband and wife team Nadeem and Selina Bukhari.
Former Edge End High School pupil Raza hopes to study law at university after getting his invaluable training.
He said: "XTEND has opened up all sorts of opportunities for me.
"With support from my employer I plan to embark upon a law career."
Also working for the practice is apprentice Rehana Ghazanfar, 18, a former pupil of Mansfield High School from Brierfield.
XTEND is the flexible training programme run by the East Lancashire Training and Enterprise Council (ELTEC) which combines study with on-the-job training.
