BLACKBURN Rovers' promotion push hinged on a politicians' decision due to be made behind closed doors, the team's manager claimed.
For if Blackburn councillors turned down the club's request for a sizeable grant towards the cost of rebuilding the condemned Riverside stand, manager Don Mackay said the club could be forced to sell a player.
