A SHOCKING rise in Blackburn's crime rate was revealed by police.
Thieves stole £15 million worth of electrical goods from homes in the previous year, with an average of 20 burglaries a day.
Crime figures revealed that 7,462 pieces of hi-fi equipment, video players, televisions and car radios with a total value of £14,737,744 were stolen.
