AMERICAN owned medical products firm Medex announced plans for a £1 million expansion which would double its workforce to more than 100.
The company was to build a new 22,000 square foot headquarters at the Hurstwood development park, Haslingden. Vice-president for international operations Frank Griffin said the 51-strong workforce would rise to more than 100 over the next few years.
