SO Stagecoach's buses boss Brian Souter says passengers north of an imaginary line in Great Britain are "beer swilling, chip eating, council house dwellers with low car ownership." (LET, January 6).
Does he not realise that some of the relations of these people work very hard for Stagecoach for a take-home pay of between £140 and £160 a week, this to keep him and his sister, Ann Gloag, in the manner to which they have become accustomed?
Join the real world, Brian, and realise you started at the bottom where these men and women are now, with no hope of earning £463,000 per year.
No wonder morale in Stagecoach is so low with people like you at the helm.
