CUSTOMERS at Morrisons in Blackburn will soon be able to shop and save.
The firm is following the example of rival supermarket chains by launching a bonus savings account.
From January 17, the 'Midland At Morrisons' Bonus Savings Account', which can be opened with £1, will pay an interest rate of up to six per cent made up of the standard rate of 4.25 per cent and an annual bonus of 1.75 per cent.
Savers will be able to open the savings account at a number of Morrisons stores which have Midland Bank branches, including Blackburn.
