POLICE are looking for a man who indecently assaulted a teenage girl in Lancaster city centre just before Christmas.
The 17-year-old walked into the Blue Anchor pub looking for friends and, unable to find them, left the premises and walked off down a secluded alleyway. A man is believed to have followed her from the pub and then pushed her against a wall and attempted to remove her clothing.
She struck out at him and the attacker punched her in the stomach causing her to fall to the ground. She managed to scramble to her feet and run away while her attacker stood swaying on his feet.
He is described as a white male, 6ft 6ins tall, very broad with close cropped hair. He was wearing a collared white shirt with two buttons undone showing a thick hairy chest.
The attack happened around 9pm on December 23 and anyone with information should contact the Police on 63333.
