TWO leading estate agents have joined forces to give house-hunters either side of Pendle Hill a second bite of the cherry.
The Clitheroe office of Mortimer, Gorse and Ross and the Burnley and Nelson offices of H W Petty and Co are to combine their marketing and sales operations to double the promotion of properties in villages in the Pendle Hill area.
Mortimer, Gorse and Ross partner Ian Lloyd said house-hunters tended to only use estate agents on the side of Pendle Hill where they were looking to move.
"By joining forces our practices can promote properties in the villages of Barley, Roughlee, Sabden, Simonstone and Read to expand the market."
Mortimer, Gorse and Ross has offices in Blackburn, Accrington and Darwen, and employs 35. H. W. Petty has offices in Nelson, Colne and Blackburn and employs 22.
