BARLA may be hot-footing out of Leigh.
And it's all down to the cold reality of Xanadu.
The British Amateur Rugby League Association's Centre of Excellence in Etherstone Street has spawned some of the country's best young talent.
But plans for the multi-million pound Xanadu complex will turn the centre out into the cold; their land is earmarked as a car park!
The centre has successfully operated in Leigh for some 10 years.
But discussions are already underway for the big move - with Wigan's Robin Park among the favoured destinations.
