POLICE have issued a warning following the theft of several dangerous drugs from a chemists shop.
Thieves broke into McDougalls chemists on Market Street, Newton-le-Willows, shortly after 3am on New Year's Day and stole 500 10mg Diazepam tablets (blue in colour), 1200 5mg Diazepam tablets (yellow in colour), 500 250mg Ertyhromycin antibiotics (shiny red in colour) and 800 5mg Nitrazepam sleeping tablets (white in colour).
Police have warned that if these tablets are not taken as prescribed they could have serious side-effects.
