A DRIVER knocked-down a six-year-old girl and drove on without stopping in Lancaster on Monday afternoon.
The girl was hit and left with facial injuries on Barley Cop Lane. The driver then sped off towards Slyne Road.
The girl's injuries were described as not serious but police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are especially interested in a moustached man in his early 20s, who tried to help the victim.
