HASLINGDEN FC are making an appeal to the football fans of the town to get involved with the club.
The Ewood Bridge side are desperate for new faces to help out behind the scenes.
"We have grown as a club on the field getting promoted to Division One of the North West Counties," said player-manager Steve Parry.
"But off the field we have only got a small band of people running the club.
"There are only six people who are involved and we really need more.
"We hope this appeal is successful because it will tell us if people in the town are interested in having a football club."
Suggestions that the club are in financial trouble were strongly rejected by Parry.
"It is not a question of money," said Parry.
"It is simply a case of manpower.
"What we are asking for is for people who are prepared to put in an hour a week.
"That would help us and allow myself to concentrate on matters on the field."
