A LEYLAND actress trained at London's Mountview school is back up north.
Victoria Ward is doing a two-week stint at the Charter Theatre in Willy Russell's Blood Brothers in which she plays the role of Brenda as well as acting understudy for one of the main characters.
The 21-year-old who went to Wellfield High, is a former Leyland Festival Queen from the Guild Year of 1992 and used to sing solo at the Leyland's United Reformed Church as a brownie.
Proud parents Peter and Mollie Ward have been trying to get front row seats to every performance in Preston. They have also travelled up and down the country to see the show as the tour includes Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Brighton.
Leyland's United Reformed Church has organised a trip for 60 residents to see Victoria in action.
Mum Mollie said: "Victoria thinks her ship's come in as Blood Brothers is one of her favourite shows."
