ANYONE who feels like shouting the odds about how good life is in Journal-Land could soon get the chance to do it officially!
The Town Centres Management team are on the lookout for a town crier for Leigh, Golborne and Platt Bridge.
And, although there is no salary the job, it will mean a high profile for those with loud-enough qualifications.
Town centres manager John Ayres said: "We believe many people would like the chance to show us how well they could demonstrate their talent for voicing the benefits of their own area. I would like to hear from anyone who is interested.
"Obviously it needs someone with a good, loud and clear voice who is not embarrassed to stand in public places and make proclamations on our behalf!"
