ELECTRONICS company Mullard announced the loss of more than 300 jobs at its Blackburn plant.
Two divisions of the company were set to close as some of its products were superseded by new technology.
The company said it hoped to achieve an initial 130 job cuts through re-deployment, retirement and voluntary redundancy.
