I AGREE entirely with your Opinion (LET, January 19) on the possible closure of the Lewis Textile Museum, in Blackburn.
I have lived in Blackburn all my life and I have always looked with pride on this small museum which depicts the history of the textile industry in Blackburn and neighbouring East Lancashire towns.
It is a small jewel in the crown in the centre of Blackburn and has been enjoyed by many thousands of people over the years who have been able to pop in and look at local textile history in an easy and relaxing way.
I hope the people of Blackburn and Darwen will do their utmost to keep this unique museum open.
