THE new blockbuster movie "Titanic" was almost sunk on its maiden showing in Blackburn last night.
Film buffs at the Apollo Cinema were suddenly told to leave the auditorium after a commotion - which police later described as a 'domestic' - broke out.
One film fan said: "The film was interrupted for about 20 minutes while they sorted it out. The funny thing was that the incident happened just as the Titanic started to sink on screen. Someone in the audience shouted 'abandon ship' - and everyone started laughing!"
