AN initiative has been launched to help East Lancashire firms go green.
Groundwork has set up the Waste Management Support Service to help firms cut down on waste and save money.
The service includes low cost waste reviews, a scheme to find potential users for material others regard as waste and advice on grants and legislation.
"Every company produces waste in one form or another," said project officer Kerry Todd.
"Our initiative will offer a single advice point to reduce that waste and make cost savings."
The initiative will be launched at the Groundwork Environment Centre, Nova Scotia Wharf, Bolton Road, Blackburn.
Further details are available from Kerry Todd on 01254 676747.
