THE parents of a two-year-old boy are appealing to anyone who may be able to help them get their son's cherished Teletubbie back.

Little Ben Thomas had been given Dipsy - the green Teletubbie - as a Christmas present by his mum and dad, Lisa and Shaun. The couple had queued up at Woolworths every day for three weeks to get the best-selling toy, which has been in short supply all over the country.

Ben lost Dipsy when he and his dad went to pick up his four-year-old sister Ashlee from Sutton Manor Primary School, and Shaun believes that the toy was lost in the school grounds.

Shaun, from Clock Face, said: "Ben loves his Teletubbie and if anyone has found it I urge them to hand it in to the headteacher at Sutton Manor, it really would make a little boy very happy."
