A HOODED raider left a female shop assistant shocked after threatening her with a knife.
The robber burst into The Video Centre in Concourse Way, Parr at about 4.05pm on Sunday, January 18 brandishing what appeared to be a carving knife. He ordered the woman behind the counter to hand him the contents of the till but when she did he said it wasn't enough and demanded more. The terrified assistant then offered to go into the back of the shop to get her own purse but before she could, the man ran off.
The raider was white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build and a local accent. He was wearing a thigh-length anorak and a scarf wrapped around his face.
