HUNDREDS of new jobs are set to be offered to East Lancashire school leavers.
Almost 100 employers have taken stands at the Jobs 98 events being held at Ewood Park and Turf Moor in March.
The event is the third to be organised to give young people the chance to find out about jobs available under the XTEND initiative.
Most of the vacancies on offer will be for Modern Apprenticeships where young people work towards qualifications as well as earning a wage.
The Jobs 98 events are open to all of the 6,700 year 11 pupils in East Lancashire.
The Ewood Park event is March 5 and the Turf Moor one on March 12. Both will run from 5pm to 8.30pm.
