AFTER nearly two months without a competitive game, Rovers Reserves finally get back in Pontin's League Premier Division action next Wednesday, February 4. They are away to Liverpool Reserves, with the match being staged at Chester City (7pm).
League leaders Leeds could stretch their advantage over Rovers to five points before then, as they are at home to lowly Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

FRANZ Carr, who began his career as an Ewood apprentice before making a big-money move to Nottingham Forest, has been released by Bolton after a three-month trial.
The 31-year-old winger, who has played for a number of clubs including Newcastle and Aston Villa, was previously with Reggiana in Italy.
WHILE preparing for their FA Youth Cup tie against QPR at Loftus Road on Monday, February 16 (7pm), with a place in the last eight at stake, Rovers are still waiting for their next opponents in the county competition.
They defeated Blackpool as long ago as November 17 in their opening game in this season's Lancashire FA Youth Cup for professional clubs.
