IN reply to Phil Riley (Letters, February 4), Labour may well be 30 points ahead of the Tories but he should not be too complacent.
Since the general election, in local government by-elections there have been 45 Conservative net gains, 29 Labour net losses, eight Liberal Democratic net losses and 16 independent net losses.
