BULLDOZERS moved in on Blackburn Rovers' Darwen End stand to make way for the new super stadium at Ewood Park.
The roof was removed and demolition men started on the steel frame of the old stand.
But fans from Sheffield United were angry that the demolition meant they would only get a few hundred tickets for their sixth round FA Cup clash with Rovers, and called for the game to be switched to Sheffield.
